1/23 Rufus AMPS 77 +3 56 +4 77 +4.5 63 +6 79 PMPS 167 +3 193

I did feed at LC 1.5. Im going to feed some 8% now@+3. Rufus dosent react to carbs like Missy... he also usually surfs a little better and his nadir is usually around +7.

@4.5 He started to wobble and tremble his head a bit while laying down. Tested BG 63 (he has been lower without an issue) Maybe its his ear, he has had a bit of a scab inside for a week or so. But I would have expected more head shaking.... not wobbling like he was. I put a drop of syrup on his tongue JIC. He doesnt want to eat. He seems pretty tired, he is napping now. I will continue to monitor. I have some HC out and I will keep offering it, and force feed if I have to.

Could he the wobble be from low BG... even though its not that low???

edit -+5 he is eating some 13% mixed with his 8%:joyful:

That’s not really low. Outdoor he have an ear infection?

Indoor only since i've had him in October. A week or so ago he was scratching his ear so I cleaned it and there was a bit of blood. I assumed it was a scratch... his ears look really clean and normal. It didnt seem to bother him too much. Maybe something is bothering him more now. I want to get him to my vet to get a check up but he is horrible in the car; crying, drooling, diarreah and vomiting. I have started getting him use to a large carrier and next is a trip to the car. I guess I will try to speed up the process.

I didnt think it would be his BG... but wanted to get your opinion. THANK YOU

Sorry auto correct screwed it up. Just wondering if he has an ear infection.

I dont think its an infection... but I guess Im not a vet. There is no redness, heat, inflammation. His ears seem very clean- no discharge or build up. It was only in that moment that something seemed off and he was pointing his ear a bit different while trembling his head. He hasnt given any indication that something is bothering him before or since then. I actually want to get him to the vet because of the smell of his breath, and I feel like he needs denstistry. But he is still grooming and acting ok nothing thats too pressing.
I put some homeopathic drops in and wiped out his ear. I'll keep a close eye on it and be sure to have my vet take a really good look when we go in a few weeks. If it happens again I will send my vet a video and get in sooner.
