Does anyone know if it’s okay to have insulin shipped from Canada to NC in freezing cold weather? If so would I still opt to get the extra ice packs shipping? I just want to make sure the insulin will still be okay. Thanks.

I would ask Mark's Marine if that's where you're shipping from as they'd know best. I wouldn't ship a plant right now through the mail but insulin might be ok as it might have a lower freezing point than water.

Hey Katherine! Thanks. I will call them once they open to see what they say. I should have ordered more last time I ordered. I didn’t think about the cold weather coming.

We have arctic temperatures coming our way here in the New York metro area so I would be thinking twice about shipping liquids too!

I was in your same position two months ago and we are also in NC. They (CanShipMeds.com) shipped it from Canada and we didn't opt for any extra ice packs and it arrived in perfect condition. They even added a few strips in the container that will change colors if it got too warm.

Thanks for letting me know. I’ve ordered but I think they are way behind because of a winter storm they had.
