I would shoot a full dose. If you don't feel you are ready you can shoot a token dose. It's up to you. You have shot a full dose at 150. It's not that much different.

What's a token dose? slightly less then 4.5u?

A token dose would be 2.5 or less. Now that he is giving you blue cycles you will need to deal with greens. Slightly less will not effect. Even a token dose might give you lower numbers the first part of the cycle. Remember your dose is not based upon the pmps. The reason for pre shots is to make sure it is safe to shoot.

Ok, having troubles understanding...before I give him a shot: you mentioned that "amps are 120", did you mean pmps? his amps were 256 this morning

You can shoot a full dose if you can test and feed as much as necessary. He might have an active cycle. If you don’t want to deal with possible low numbers you can shoot 2.5.

I think no matter how good and patient you guys are, I just can't understand and remember things when situations like this happen...have been reading, and reading, and reading but yet I didn't even know what "token dose" really meant (in my mind it translated to a slightly lower dose).
What's easy for most it's very difficult to me...Don't know if I'll ever be ready to deal with low numbers

If same thing happens tomorrow morning and/or BGs are even lower than 100 do I stall, retest and ask to FDMB for suggestions?

Yes, I can monitor him but I need to go get different canned food as the I don't think the Instinct Venison and Duck I have at home is high carbs enough (I thought I read somewhere it was but can't find the info anymore). My other two options are Wellness and Weruva but don't believe they're hc.
What do you guys recommend for cats with IBD/ stomach sensitivity besides Fancy Feast?

You learn very quickly here! you WILL b able to deal with the lower #s, i felt same way, but you will learn to Love the low numbers...like me (just started on here only 3 weeks ago.) i was freaked out, and i still get flustered, but you will get more used to it.
