Should I increase or hold steady?

The past few weeks we have been doing much better and his numbers are looking better, he isn't jumping as much and seems to be leveling a bit. My vet was impressed with all that I am doing and said I am doing more than anyone he has seen in the past several years. He said if I can get him steady in the 200 range then we can call that a win. Currently he has been getting to the low 100's which I feel pretty good about. That said, should I increase by .25 or just hold where we are since it seems to be semi good. My spreadsheet has been updated. I have been adding 2022 on the 2021 tab at the same time as adding to 2022. I wanted to continue on the 2021 tab for myself for reference until I get a month into the 2022. Thoughts/advice appreciated.

Given that you have only 10 days on the 2021 tab, if it were me, I'd keep that tab and just re-name the tab, 2021-2022.

Vets lean heavily toward keeping cats in higher numbers than we do. This is likely due to how few of the caregivers they work with actually home test. (If they would encourage home testing that might be a different story!!) If you're not home testing, I would similarly be afraid of a cat falling into hypoglycemic range and the caregiver not having a clue. Since you're testing, this is much less of an issue. In addition, not all that many vets seem to have kitties that go into remisison.

I would increase the dose. You're still seeing nadirs that give you room to increase.

Also, are you missing 12/23 and 12/24 data on Nash's spreadsheet?

Thanks for the response. I have more than 10 days on 2021 tab, maybe you didn't scroll?

The December 23rd and 24th I had a cat sitter give him his dose. I did his morning of the 23rd dose and left for family Christmas out of down. I usually take a photo of every check but for some reason I don't have a photo from that morning. Probably too busy getting ready to leave to remember photo. I came home from holiday travel on the 25th and checked him right when I got home and gave him his night dose, sitter did the dose that morning. Once I was home and settled from holiday things I did increase from 3.75 to 4.
