Bama started breaking his bounce by climbing the high dive @ AMPS yesterday and diving into the lagoon by AMPS today. Happy New Year! I've granted his reducie and will monitor over the next few hours to make sure he doesn't start swimming with the sharks. His drop has been steady. He ate well overnight once I opened a new can of Weruva Cats in the Kitchen Double Dip @ PM+2. According to my notes this flavor has 8% carbs and 248 mgs phosphorus per 100 calories. He ate after each test and finished up the can at his AMPS meal. Even started eating some of the FF he barely nibbled yesterday. Yeah for falling BG value hunger stimulation.

+2.5, 78, decided best to test on half hours when so close to limes. Now that he's jumped to 78, I did not feed but will test again @ +3.5 or 4 as I know the Karo water won't last. Not sure how long the cat treats stay in effect. He did not want to eat the FF until I covered them with the cat treats which he has not had in a long while. They don't have any wheat gluten in them so I consider them a better choice than MC or HC food that does contain it.

Bama did not eat well @ PMPS, and just a few licks at +2; dosed with Ondansetron and Famotidine in a gelcap just now as he looks to be headed lower and I need him to eat. Will check again in 2 hours. While he's not dropping too much right now, that could change. Sometimes he has a couple back to back green cycles before he bounces.

SS looks sooo much better this past month! How's he feeling besides little upset tummy? Did you get the phos stuff and everything figured out?

Not really. He won't eat food with the binder in it so I've dropped that. Doing daily sub-qs 100 mls. Just now offered FF which he barely touched. Added some kibble and 3 cat treats and he ate those plus a little Karo water.

Hi Gina. Was it the aluminum hydroxide binder he would not eat or the Epakitin kind? I also tried Niacinamide in a gelcap. But I didn’t think it worked as well as the AlOH. But the AlOH is constipating.

I am wondering how Bama is doing tonight? How is he feeling these days? Is he coming out of his room to be with you or does he come out to check out what’s going on in the house?

You were right about the rematch between Alabama and Georgia!

He would not eat the Epakitin. Did not try the aluminum binder. He is eating better a few hours after the Ondansetron. He seems to stay awake overnight as he comes to greet me for his tests and snacks [even when he doesn't eat well] unless he is up on his window box. Then I have to convince him to come down. During the day he sleeps from just after AMPS until +8 or later when it's time for sub-qs. I try to give him a snack between +4 and +6 if he'll eat but he is usually asleep and may or may not get out of his bed.

The life of an older gentleman! You take such great care of him!
