He didn’t eat the HC I had but I was able to mix into some LC, I tried to put as much gravy/HC as I could.

I will have to find another HC canned option
 
On a related note.. his 43/50 numbers don’t seem to bother him… he was still playing (a bit of hand playing with him, cleaning himself etc)

ETA: I know this doesn’t mean he’s safe… I know some cats don’t show any symptoms (which is why I wish more ppl would test!)

Guessing Bhooma is probably sleeping by now.

@tiffmaxee he doesn’t seem to be going up.. he had a mix of HC/MC at +6 (bg was 61) but nothing since .. we tested at +7 (bg was 99 - food bump most likely) but he didn’t want food at this time. Now he’s back to 61@ +9

I know he’s not in the danger zone atm.. hopefully he goes up by PMPS. The increase to 4u yesterday really hit him.

I know that it will depend on what his number is at PMPS… but should I give his normal dose and continue on with what I have been doing last nights cycle and this mornings cycle with HC/LC mix or add syrup to his LC (I found out last night that he won’t eat the HC food I have .. tried multiple cans/flavours)

Just trying to plan ahead and get some thoughts incase the forum is slower later on

Lol. Was up until 4am last night and up early because he was still partying..

Ya, Bhooma had mentioned the 4u would linger for a few more cycles. Thought maybe because of that a small decrease might be ok tonight but I’ll stick with 3.75 - he’s at 121 now - I feel a bit safer to shoot at that.. I think that lime green last night (new to me) had me a little hestitant…even though I’ve shot @ 56 before..

If he doesn’t bounce, we’re in for another long night, which is fine :)

Like you said it’s NYE… and he’s a nighttime partier… hope I do get a bit of a break or at least some lows that don’t earn reduction.

Guessing in this particular case .. because he still has the 4u residual depot we wouldn’t do a reduction until we see what happens after 4-6 cycles or does that still apply?
 
Yes. It can take that long to see how this dude works but with TR if the numbers trend up and not due to a bounce you can go right back up to the last good dose without waiting any specific number of cycles.
 
148 @ +1 but doesn’t mean we won’t repeat last nights cycle… will check at +2 … though I wonder if I can skip +2 and do a +3

His poor ears but he’s still being really good about pokes. That’s usually what I’m most excited for when he bounces or has nice low blues.. ear poke breaks - not even the sleep that I would get

Happy New Year to you and Gus too! Take advantage of PM cycles like this when you can sleep. You'll have plenty of other chances to stay up most of the night testing!
