That's a big drop. Your call but if it were me I'd feed a little MC perhaps...his usual nadir is early, but the bounce breaks can sometimes drag out a little longer

His onset I think is more between +1 and +2 but closet to +2. I did only give LC and just running to pharmacy and back home before work...he should nadir soon.

If i was going to work right after a drop like that I definitely would leave mc out for sure. Plus it was more than 2 hours since a check so may have had two largish drops instead of one big one like it looks. I thought it was a bounce cycle...he surprises me daily! LOL
 
Ok sonhe dropped a lot more than I expexted... I mixed him some 4 and 9% he is eating now...leaving same in feeder for +7.5...

Someone tell me he is gonna be ok cause this is when I freak out when I have to leave and cant monitor. I didn't test but I fed more LC at +4.5 knowing I'd check in an hour.

Unfortunately not a lot of data to go from on past bounce breaks. I should think he'd be ok if you leave him some MC as insurance, I don't expect him to go much lower - but I wouldn't rely on feeder, I'd just leave it out. I see Bhooma commenting so see what she says lol

Re: earlier comment, I meant it was still a big drop in a 2 hr time span ;)

I've got mil checking on him when feeder is due to go off to make sure he gets down out of bed and eats....also left her honey and can of food told her to check periodically and call me of he os acting strange I'll come straight home
 
Similar to PM cycles of 12/20 and 12/24. Not sure if you intervened with MC then. Nothing in the comments. I remember that when you did you MC in the initial days, he zoomed - was pretty carb sensitive. After that you were able to get him to surf safely with just low carbs.

I know I overcompensated because I wasnt going to be home...

I will update as tonight to show the mc

No higher carb meal at pmps. Get a +1 and +2. If either is lower than the pmps you could feel slightly higher lc. If he decides this dose is too much don’t be afraid to reduce.

He got regular LC 1% at pmps...I am about to leave friends from dog walk be home about +1.75 and will check...i left some LC before inlet to walk dog

Makes sense to do that. Better to be safe. You want add to the notes in your SS whenever you feed anything besides his usual 1-4% LC. That way you have a very useful history of when you needed to feed higher carbs and how he reacted to them.

I added the higher carb mix to the notes on ss for today.

I honestly do not think it really shot him up at all today. I believe it kept him steady...though I wasnt home to test so who knows. Just know he was still lower at pmps.

125 are +3 now.

I know he hasn’t reached one yet. My point was you don’t want to carb him up at amps or pmps if he’s blue. Feed normal lc. Save mc for early green in the cycle.of ours if you will t be home it’s a different story. You are home tonight.

That makes sense thankyou!

So 120 at +4 he seems fairly flat. I'm thinking call it a night or should I get another test in an hour?
