Panzer refused to eat for me twice yesterday & once today, he refused his food withhis zobaline in it for the first time today. Luckily I had a couple packs of fortiflora, I sprinkled some on his food & he devoured it. I picked up a new box of it today from my vet. Panzer also learned how to jump up on the kitchen counter today, I knew it was coming when I saw him up on the washer & dryer! My question is how much is to much fortiflora? I know it says one pack a day on the box, but I don't know when he is going to choose not to eat. Should I just sprinkle a little bit on his food so I don't use over a packet a day? Any input is greatly appreciated. Is there anything else I can put on his food to make him eat? https://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB...ible-fur-shot-158-4-158-5-142-6-152-7.257134/

I have not used Fortiflora, but from what I have read here, people who use it to entice cats to eats, sprinkle just a little over the food. A packet can last more than a day.

You want to get to the bottom of why he isn't eating. Is he bored of the food? Just less hungy as he sees better number? Is there anything else affecting his appetite - does he seem nauseous? Here are some tips on How to Stimulate Kitty's Appetite

When I used it on China, it just took a little sprinkle to get her eating. I could make 1 packet last for several days (but those days weren't consecutive....if she was just being picky, that was one thing but if she wasn't eating for more than a day, it was time to find out why)

I think he is bored with the food, he doesn't act nauseous at all. He seems to have 2 favorite kinds of food. I think is also just now realizing that there is zobaline in the +8 feeding. I never thought that he might not be as hungry because his #s are better. He's pooping peeing, playing, & purring so I doubt think there is anything wrong all though he did hide under my bed last night. He eventually got in bed with me, but he hasn't done that in a long time hide under the bed that is. He always sleeps with me.

He has only refused food 3xs, 2xs yesterday, & once so far today, until I put fortiflora on it. Then he gobbles it up :) we got one more feeding to go then it's bedtime.

He ate it no problems & he's even checking out & licking out of Spooks automatic feeder. Maybe we will try to get him to eat out of his feeder on my 4 day weekend I have coming up:cat:

I never used it so can’t help. I’m glad he’s eating but why dies he need it to eat is the question. :bighug:
I feed the 3 of them 1 can of fancy feast every 4hrs, 3hrs for the last feeding because I like to sleep more than 3hrs before it's time to get upv Lol :bighug:
