Good morning!
I would like to know your thoughts about Blaze's numbers on the 1.75U dose.
He is bouncing a lot still but he does have some nice greens and blues. Yesterday AM cycle, his nadir was 70.
Should I continue with this dose?
I am able to monitor everyday (AM and PM) until Jan. 2nd when school starts again. If we are going to go to remote learning for an additional 2 weeks in the new year (that seems to be the speculation right now considering the Omicron cases sudden increase in Ontario, Canada), and teachers are allowed to teach online from home, I will have an additional 2 weeks of testing and monitoring available to me. I will update you as the information is given to me.

I am taking Ash, my other kitty, to the vet this morning :nailbiting: so it will be an ordeal and I might not be able to test as much.

Good morning. Are you still using the human meter? The ss says temporary switch. Even though he’s seen green nadirs it’s safe to raise him to 2.0 now that you are on winter break.

No I am using the Alphatrak now, I went back to it on 09/20/21.
Should I increase starting tonight?
 
Bhooma made the line for me, i didn't know the settings have to be changed back. When I resumed back to the Alphatrak I just added a line myself saying that I had switched back.
 
So you were using a human meter only between 9/14 and 9/19? The rest of the year you were using the AT? Becuase the SS you are using is for human meters. Lime below 50 and not 68.

That’s correct. I did didn’t notice on the ss until today. :banghead:

That's correct yes, I only used the Human Meter during those 5 days in September. I use the Alphatrak otherwise.
I was told last year, when Blaze got first diagnosed and I joined this group to use this sheet anyways. I am aware of the different hypo numbers for both. I know that for the Aphatrak, anything below 68 (3.8) is considered HYPO and I know that anything under 50 (2.7) is considered hypo when using the Human meter. I was told to use the human meter spreadsheet, stating at the top that I am using a pet meter. I was told that the numbers would show higher but not to use an Alphatrak Spreadsheet because most of the members here use human meters.
I do have an Alphatrak SS that I also use for myself and I was told not to make it sharable with anyone because most members wouldn't be very comfortable reading it.
Last year, Mogs was helping me and I followed what she was suggesting.
I can add my Alphatrak spreadsheet to the signature here as well, that is not a problem for me.
 
I would like to apologize to all for the confusion! Last year, Blaze went into remission in 3 weeks after his first diagnosis. I had no clue of what I was doing, I followed everything the members were telling me to do, step by step. I was taken under your wing and did everything you told me to do to a T and Blaze went into remission that quick. Therefore now, after he came out of remission, I consider myself still very green navigating through all this. I thought I had it all down as far as the recording of the readings...now I am panicked.
 
Thank you so much, I feel like the most idiot member on here sometimes. This is all very overwhelming. I am surprised Blaze is still breathing :(
Thank you so much for changing the formats. I think we need to tell @Marje and Gracie that you added the tabs already because this morning we chatted and she was gonna do that for me.
