Did you not shoot last night? I would stick to 0.25U unless he drops below 90 (5 mmol/l) and earns a reduction .

No shot last night. When you say unless he drops below 5, am I correct in that would be the pre shot pre meal value, vs mid cycle?

No. With SLGS any drop under 90 at any time earns a reduction.

I don’t see that you have picked a method. With TR a drop under 50 earns a reduction. If you are not feeding any dry food you can choose either method provided you can test a minimum of two times every cycle. Active cycles can require more tests with TR though.

I agree that you stick with 0.25 U unless you drop under 90. Your kitty still needs some insulin. You are very close to remission but not there yet.

I don’t know that I want to flirt with 50’s given were both headed back to work in person next month. Especially with how fast his numbers have changed thus far.

If it's not too onerous, when you post, could you use the US numbers from your spreadsheet. There are fewer people here who use mmol/L and far more members who will understand your posts if you use the mg/dL format.

By aggressive you mean TR? Keeping him on the higher doses longer and waiting for that 50 drop dosing?

I’d be willing to try that until we’re both back to work and monitoring will be harder to do
