Bounce breaking? Bama got up from his bed last night for each test and to eat afterwards. Lack of oral Ondansetron did not seem to affect him. Wonder if I was overmedicating him. The oral is 4 mg. I was reading somewhere that .11mg. per pound was the recommended dosage. By my calculations, he should then be getting less than 2 mg. [.11 x 15 lbs. = 1.65]

He is eating well this morning. Sprinkled some B12 & probiotic in his FF2% and added 1/8t Miralax to about 1/2t pumpkin since he only had a few marble sized poops over the past 24 hours. He ate some kibble, too. Lately, he has enjoyed having me syringe him plain water. I fill up the 3 mls syringe about 3 times and do this several times a day. I hold it at the front of his mouth and he laps it with his tongue, almost trying to suck the tip and I wonder if he remembers suckling as a kitten.

I was giving Bandit 2mg TID even though she's only 10lbs. Katherine said Ruby was getting as much as 6mg at one point (I think!).

I have been looking for a bounce breaking cycle and am about to call a failed reduction. Of course, last time I was about to call it, he sank to 52. So, tomorrow morning, if we see no extended blues, I am upping the dose to 4.75u. Hear that, Bama Kitty!!!
