Get with the program, Gus!

Hang in there. Sometimes it's one stop forward and two steps back in this dance. He'll come down soon enough.![]()

Our poster boy for glucose toxicity is Henry. Went up to 4.75U and then he didn't stop till 0.5U

Callie is another example. 5U was her breakthrough dose:

For Oscar it was 4U and he didn't stop till OTJ:

It can be very frustrating to watch the dose climb and make no difference to the numbers. Gus' body has had 4 months to get nice and used to higher numbers. Let us see when it decides that it wants to start responding to insulin!
ETA: If he is in pain, that could elevate numbers.

Yeah, I'm not sure it is his nadir. It possible he could be slightly lower at +6. I didn't think it was a significant enough data point to lose sleep for, is all!
ETA: Of course, I could be wrong!
Nadirs can and do move around. They can be later in bounce breaking cycles.I was honestly wondering cuz it doesn’t seem like if anyone asked me when his nadir was I could say x time(ish)… he’s usually a PS nadir kinda guy![]()
Damn! And I'm eating my words!
Congrats on the green!![]()
They always do! Brats! He wanted to prove you wrong!
LOL. Your days of sleep might just be over. Bye bye sleep! It was nice knowing you!but now I’m tired and wanna go to sleep, lol

Yup. That 70 point dip so late in the cycle was unexpected! So I guess I’ll be grabbing a +8 and see if he goes up? If so, bedtime!?

At least he is slowing down! Gave him a little more LC?
If he's flat or higher at the next test, feed LC and call it a night.
Just saw this. Yes. Am curious to see what his AMPS will be like!68 +9 … same as an hour ago… safe to call it a night, you think? Will feed some more LC

Congrats on making the green!!! And welcome to the nights of the sleepless.Oh good, already in bedhaha. Can’t seem to sleep now though.. too much excitement!
I was just thinking that myself. Guess we shall see in a few short hours.

Yes, I had similar concerns for Bama yesterday as he soared to the pinks, gave me a 99 @ PM+9 and a 52 @ AMPS. Good times, huh? Thanks! Been an interesting day. Started off complaint that we weren’t seeing changes and to low (dark) green![]()
