Major boing. Recovered ok to 158 at +8.

He sneezed quite a bit of blood today. Not like ER level, but an alarming amount. It was a few hours after his post-grass puke. He doesn’t always barf after grass, but today he binged and ate 9-10 pieces. All of which came up shortly after.
Really hoping the delayed sneezing was related to the acid in his nose.
Anyone experienced this?

Could be the acid?

No runny eyes or nose? Coughing, sneezing?

Air cold/dry where you are?

I assume some stomach acid ends up in his nose after puking? Based on every once on a while he has a little runny nose after puking a big puke and he has a few sad sniffles.
No coughing or sneezing.
He’s been feeling crappy ever since, sleeping in one place all day, been bringing him food and just did PM shot and he still doesn’t want to get up.

Hopefully this passes soon. You know how it is. You get really worried over a little thing.

Tell me about it!

Can't help, I'm afraid. No experience. Was his vomit bloody? Any chance you can call a vet and ask?

Vomit was only grass. No blood. Only consolidation is I know human bloody noses have quite a large amount of blood and then all is fine. But damn. He sprayed it everywhere. Dad was next to him when it happened. On his paws and mane and cheek furs.
ER vet cannot give any answers of course, don’t blame them. It’s 4 hours to get in.

Yeah I agree that it's time to get him seen by the vet. It may be nothing or he may have a polyp or something that's causing the bleeding.

No
No more blood? If not I would wait and call your regular vet Monday. What do you think?

No more blood. I looked at his nose again. Blood remaining is now dry. He got up after PM shot meal and went pee so we are doing better.
I’m not going to wait to get into the ER all night and likely get a scrip for a steroid for allergies. I don’t think it’s that serious.
Thanks Elise :)
