Ok. I’m going to make it a habit of drawing a little bit too much so I can release a drop and make sure that doesn’t happen again. I usually just pull to the mark I want. It doesn’t help that he is on such a puny dose. Hard to manage. But I’m happy he is.I've had that happen before. It's just all air and it's hard to tell the difference between only air and insulin. I've found it's the syringes causing the problem. It's similar to an air bubble.

I now can tell if the syringe is going to not be airtight (don't know what to call it) when I prime the plunger by pulling it down and rotating. If it's going to be wonky, you can almost feel there is no resistance.
