Responding to yesterday’s question about allergy tests, the answer is no. My vet did not know of any that were reputable at the time. There have been a number of scam ones out there. So I used the old fashioned vomit log to track what proteins work. Rabbit is a staple here too, though thankfully turkey also Ok. Raw, Nature’s Variety, and Hounds N Gators all make rabbit options.

Time to break that bounce Jill.

My vet wants to test for environmental allergies which they do just like they do for people. Stab a bunch of allergens into the skin and see what happens. For food, he has s system, but it's all trial and error. What gets a bad reaction and what doesn't. That makes me nervous. Emma and her littermate sometimes get into a crumb or two of someone else's food and their mouths blow up and get all ulcerated and it's terrible. That's why Emma is on antibiotics now; it's really bad. I think she ate a duck kibble. So we know duck is a no-go for her.

Jill is surprising me all over the place. 55 at +5.5?! Very unexpected. I waited a bit to test because she's been running high and I thought maybe her nadir was shifting. So now I have no idea.

Good luck with the butt wash. I hope the diarrhea clears up soon. Sending prayers.
She hates the butt wash and there's something happening there that I am unsure of. Either it's a big hard poop that's stuck to her or something is coming out that shouldn't. Calling the vet in the morning for help!

6th cycle after that 60 a couple days ago, she is breaking her bounce. One of the reasons we hold doses with greens a little longer. So, not unexpected.

Thank you. I was just thinking of going to a veterinary allergist.
