Normally Zack's in the 400 zone to 300s and after shot of 2 mg basaglar it comes down in 2 hours or so but now it's 4 hours and is still over 500. Perhaps the shot didnt all go in this
morn. Should I wait out the 12 hr cycle and give another shot then or dare I give him one sooner in case earlier shot didn't take? Thx

Good advice. Never give a second dose!
Would you like to set up your spreadsheet and signature so we can help you?
Instructions for both here as well as a hypo kit HERE

I will ask @Bandit's Mom to contact you about the spreadsheet and signature. She can help you. She will be online in about 3 hours

Greetings! I never did hear from Bandit's Mom. I've spend considerable time trying to set up the spread sheet but having trouble with step 5 : 'Publish to the Web.' I'm not getting that link when I click on ' FILE ' and then also not getting 'Publish to the Web.' I don't think I'm doing anything wrong. Perhaps some things have changed. Thx

Thanks much. Will await Bandy mom reply . I'm ready t o move on this

These are the instructions for how to input data into it.

  • Basically, each day is divided into two 12-hour cycles - the AM one and the PM one.
  • AMPS is AM preshot test.
  • U is the number of units of insulin given
  • +1, +2 etc are the tests taken after the shot so +1 is 1 hour after the shot, +2 is 2 hours after etc.
  • Similarly for the PM cycle.
Thank you, Bhooma. Zack sent me a PM and as soon as he gives me editing rights, I’ll fix his SS and get it posted.
