I think it's wise to use R right now. Have you considered mid-cycle R? It looks like you could have done it yesterday. I don't know if it's too late today or if it's still mid-cycle. With Darcy, his R was DONE after four hours. I could give him more at about +6 when he was high.

You know, I didn't think about it yesterday midcycle because it was in the 200s - my brain is so fixated on that magic 3...though 292 is virtually 300 and I gave it at AMPS today on the same number! I'm tempted to try 0.5R but need to be sure I'm around to monitor. Right now I'm just hanging on for 6 cycles at this dose. Argh!
And her ketones back at 1.0 at AM+4. Fortunately her appetite is doing well.
