Slow start on the bounce; flat since PM+7 so maybe the bounce won't be to the black; we'll see as the morning goes on. After the battle with getting the PM Ondansetron in him, he didn't eat well at PMPS but had recovered his appetite by +4 & +7 so he had some kibble then. He seemed well rested and got out of his bed to greet me instead of making me test him [and feed him] in his bed like he did the night before.

Has already peed in his box and no poop yet this morning. He strained out a Milkdud last night but nothing since. Left off his psyllium husk powder last couple of days so will restart in a day or two using pumpkin as the delivery vehicle rather than his LC FF as I'm still not convinced the stickiness of it isn't part of what keeps him from licking his bowl clean. Mama here is a clean-your-plate mama. I'll dose him with some Miralax tonight if there's no prize in the box today.

All told, good start to the day.

I think perhaps you should consider getting some liquid Lactulose for him, with all the trouble he has with constipation. It seems to taste good. Darcy used to eat it up in baby food or other favorite foods - as long as he had an appetite, he would eat it right up.

Are you sure this is really a bounce and not a result of the skip yesterday morning?

I hope he eats lots for you today… and has good BMs and has a happy day!
I am still unable sometimes to distinguish between what is a true bounce and what may be other things in play--food intake, pain or discomfort, skipped doses, etc. Given that he is down to 301 @ +2, maybe this is not a bounce and just a result of a dose skip. Will a bounce be coming later because of lows in the green? I can't really predict. What do you think? Thanks, Suzanne. I love to hear your perspective on things. @Suzanne & Darcy

Yeah, it’s so hard to know, isn’t it? So many factors in play here!

+5.5 186--doesn't look like a bounce or maybe the bounce has cleared. Could see action tonight? Fed about 1/2 T Dr. Elsey's chicken kibble. May not feed again until pre-shot meal unless he is obviously hungry.

It does actually look like a small bounce to me, solely because of the pretty big drop today plus late nadir. Aided by the skip.

Compare this to the cycles on 10/31-11/1 - that was bounce and effect of skip. Came down fairly fast between late AM and early PM, plus skip, bounced right back up.

On 11/7 he bounced from the previous cycle, came down pretty far on the break (hi late bounce break nadir!), plus skip, bounced right back up.

This is looking an awful lot like 11/5 heading into 11/6

Have you considered having him tested for IAA or acromegaly? Or perhaps you already did? SS isn't quite reading like an IAA cat to me, but curious.

Discussed having the tests with vet couple days ago and we decided to wait given his recent reductions. Thanks for your analysis of his SS. I'll study it more tomorrow. Thinking I'll take the rest of the night off from testing. :)
