? Djoko - amps 86 pmps 401 - pancreatitis flare up - when to consult

Hello ! it has been a while and Djoko's SS is not updated. Sorry.

He has not received insulin today because his appetite was so so. I tested him at 4h30 pm and he was at 93. I came back from a walk at 5h50 and he was on the carpet now well. He has diarrhea. He is meowing of pain, breathing quick and heavily. It seems like a pancreatitis flare up as he got very high within an hour. He vomitted too. I gave him gapapentine and anti-nausea 30 minutes ago. Wondering when it will kick in.

How long after having given him the meds shoould I go to the vet if his condition does not improve?

I don’t like how you describe his breathing. I’d call the vet’s office and tell them what you just said. So many symptoms all at once worry me that it could be an acute episode. Here at least it’s hard to get to see a vet at night, even an ER
