I’m still thinking of you and Dolly. Just checking in on you. It’s almost 8:30 here and I have to run out and find cat food since my delivery didn’t make it.

Mirtazapine wearing off I think :banghead:. My fear with full dose. She has eaten well today but couldn’t say how much. Doubtful she would go low enough to worry about but hate the not eating and then comes the morning shot :nailbiting:. 1/2 Mirtazapine an hour before. Just talking to myself. Sorry Suzanne. There was no way I could get Dolly to eat a pill pocket and pilling her is a nightmare. I’ve used the cyproheptadine, I have some expired ones. I remember it making Dolly restless. How is Bandit doing? How are you?

Dolly has been running away when I tried to feed
her yesterday and this morning. I must have close to 100 cans of cat food. Finding one she would like and buying all we could find. Still a shortage. She would stop eating that flavor and on to the next one. I was giving her mc and hc, whatever she would eat. Mirtazapine did not work yesterday. It’s not working any longer today. Take care Bhooma. I hope things turn around for Bandit. How is Budge?

Yes, we now have all 3 flavours of the HC kibble that Bandit likes and are rotating them. She is losing interest quickly and eat when she wants - invariably when she drops low. There is nothing we can do to get her to eat when we want, so we have given up on feeding the curve etc.

Is Dolly not eating because she cannot smell the food?

Yes. It is worse than ever. I gave her hc any carb with sardine water with salt, unsalted doesn’t work. Crushed up temptations on top, just one usually. Ate lc this afternoon but the Mirtazapine was working. She won’t eat anything I put out tonight. Her numbers were crazy today with the big ups and downs. As you know it’s a nightmare when they won’t eat. It has to be frightening when she’s low. As you know I get a bit or a lot crazy when I am scared. Dolly’s smelling issue is not going away. I don’t even know if you figured out Bandits exact problem.
 
Sorry I missed your question last night. I have had a very intense work week so I went to bed earlier than usual last night. I’m glad you gave Dolly her full dose. Looks like she was ok last night. Hope she feels better today and will eat more die you, Adrienne. :bighug:
