She got some nice blues yesterday and it looks like you will get more today. She is not a very bouncy girl and you are so fortunate with that, Debra.
 
I wouldn't stop testing until I had confirmation, two hours after food, that Susie was going up without food. That 67 would have me doing further testing just to make sure.
 
I think you should give some medium carb. Just about a fat teaspoon. Do you have any? Maybe 10% to 15%.

Hope I got the medium carb numbers right. I always forget. When Susie would drop in to the 50's I would always give medium carb - especially if it was prior to nadir which I think your Jill is making that confusing for you now.

I just saw your signature and I didn't know about Susie. I am so so sorry. These babies, they just never have long enough with us, and letting them go is so devastating. Susie's an angel now sending us love from above and eating all her favorite hc snacks in heaven. <3

I'll give her a little 12% now and then test again in 30 mins.

Thank you, Debra. Susie is no longer in pain and for that I am grateful. I'm glad you fed the 12%. Lets hope she starts coming up.
 
Yes, I guess you can skip the snack but do test in 30. They say when kitty goes low you need to monitor for two hours after food to make sure they are coming up on their own.

I wanted to say something else. I am not the best person to get advice from. I only had Susie on this site for 10 months before I had to put her down. Do you know how to tag some of the more experienced folks on this site? Please do that in the future because I will not always be around and you need the best advice possible in a situation like this. I'll check on you in 30 minutes. Good luck and remember that you can't assume your Jill will not go lower after +4. They are so unpredictable and you have to always be watchful. Until you get a couple test where she is coming up you really shouldn't take a break. Not today.

It’s actually turkey Tuscany! The stores are slim pickings with fancy feast lately.
She’s all over the place today. Her nadir is usually +4 but it’s shifting.

Yeah, I heard that. When I went to Petco I was able to get ~4 cases of FF, but it was pretty bare. They told me they get trucks all the time, but it just flies off the shelves.
