Pouring rain again this morning. Glad my kitties are indoor only! Campa and Ray would have had a hard and short life...
Instead they just have to deal with the old man growling, lots of food, continuous human affection, and warming pads to lay on at the windows!

I’m glad my Tiger is giving the girls “the business”. :) That’s a good sign! I think I would like to move into your place…. the conditions sound luxurious!

So glad you are here Summer! How did you bring Susie into your life?
Thanks, Kathy. I had recently lost my Simon to CKD and knew the only way I could fill my heart again was to bring home another shelter cat. I had a restriction though. I live with my mom and she didn't want a cat with front claws tearing up her furniture. That is a huge restriction. I went to the local shelter website and started looking around. It was magic the first time I saw Susie's picture. It is the picture I use here on this site. She was exactly what I wanted (a tuxedo) and was so cute. She had been in the shelter for about three weeks and I couldn't believe she hadn't been adopted. Probably because she was 7 years old. What was the true "icing on the cake" was that she had no front claws. Needless to say, I immediately went to the shelter and that is how our story began.
