Back to his normal, active self today - tearing around the house chasing things as I type.

Trying to wrap my head around bouncing. For the past two days Vinnie's numbers seem to be completely unaffected by the insulin. Is he bouncing?

Vinnie might still be reacting to those blue numbers on 10/15. It usually takes 6 cycles to clear a bounce.

I understand why you gave .25 in the evening of 10/15, but I don't see why you gave him just .75 last night. Lantus needs consistent dosing for it to work well and for you to see the patterns. It does not work like Prozinc--you don't adjust the dose depending on the preshot number. We need to see how LOW Lantus takes the cat, not how high.

Okay so he IS still in the bounce. Good to know... The .75 dose was a couple of nights ago. There was some back and forth on the thread that day about going back to the 0.75u dose or sticking with a 1u dose. I didn't hear back in time and thus gave him the 0.75u and the next morning (yesterday) it was decided to do 1u and hold it for 7 days.
