9/20 Shooter AMPS 337 +9 60 | Feline Diabetes Message Board - FDMB

So after my dumb hormonal/poor me brain a few days ago, I got right back on track with shooting 2f. Sorry to those of you who put up with me and thank you. ;) It seems he still doesn't like to be under 200 and bounces every time. I'm gonna hold this dose a few more cycles then if nothing changes I'm gonna up it to 2.5? Oh, I'm gonna go buy calipers today (if harbor freight has them in stock now). I've read some people bought 4" and others 6" does it matter?

Yes, I'm sure he went lower last night too. Not TOO low just lower than 149. I probably should have got my lazy butt up one more time in the night to check him. 2.25f? Not sure what that looks like on the syringe. Unfortunately, the local harbor freight still doesn't have digital calipers in stock. :(

what about buying the calipers from Harbor F online? That’s what I did.

A lot of people order them from Amazon. Katherine @PerfumedCatMom didn’t you have some calipers from Amazon that you really like?

Thank you! Yes I sure hope someday he will knock it off! lol I'm doing well just have a LOT on my plate. Of course my kitties, Shooter being diabetic, Koda with pancreatits, pretty sure Pepper needs a dental because he's eating funny, almost at the end of a LONG and FRUSTRATING new house build, packing, working and running out to the new house almost daily to hand water 325 plants and 4 trees the county made us put in. Oh, and I'm doing this all on my own as my fiance is out of town for 3 weeks! :banghead:

Wow. It sounds like you need to get a sprinkler system installed! That’s a huge number of plants. When will the wedding be? After the house is ready? Are you planning that as well? How is Koda doing now? I hope the new house is not too far from your current home?

We actually HAVE irrigation lines run but the electrical and pump for the deep well is going in the outbuilding which doesn't get built until next week! It was supposed to have been done months ago. In fact, the whole house was supposed to be done months ago. We signed with the company last JUNE! They broke ground in JANUARY. It is the end of SEPTEMBER and it's still not finished. :( This will be both of our second marriage so we're just gonna do a quickie (marriage lol) as soon as he gets back. Koda is doing pretty well. Right now as we speak he is playing with Pepper. He didn't do any of that for quite a few months but now I have him on several different supplements, well all of them because they all eat the same food except the 2 nondiabetics have kibble on top of the fridge they get into here and there.

Thanks! I've been getting Pet Wellbeing Kidney Support Gold, Jackson Galaxy's B12 for cats, Adored Beast Feline Gut Soothe and Adored Beast Healthy Gut mixed into their wet food with a little warm water. I'm anxious to see what Koda's bloodwork looks like next time.
