@Bandit's Mom sorry if I keep tagging you first but you’ve been extremely helpful so your the first person I think to ask.. I just did coopers +6 pm reading. I got what I thought was enough blood but it was a very small amount so it beeped, the “add more blood” screen flashed on then changed to reading his blood and came up at 40mg. I ran a controlled test to make sure my meter and strips were good and then tested him again with a bigger blood sample and it came up with the 124. Should I be concerned?

I would go with the second reading of 124. It's possible the first sample was too small to get an accurate reading.

That’s what I figured. First time that’s happened so just a mini panic on my part.
