I know you hold the dose for 7 days, however, it seems the only reason he's seeing blues is either finding crumbs OR last 3 hours of a cycle spiking back JUST outside of greens.

What do you think could be done to get that last little bit? I'm thinking of trying twice-daily feeding instead of 4x again to see if maybe having all the food at insulin time makes a difference?

Hmm. I'd think that feeding more often would keep the blood sugar more stable.
Don't you want him to have some food to work with, to help coast. And to prevent dropping, which can lead to a bounce up to a higher (blue) number once the insulin wears off?
In the past, did you primarily feed in the first half of the cycle, or what was your feeding schedule?

He's been fed 4x per day every 6 hours 1/8th cup each time for a few weeks at least now. He doesn't wake us up really in the morning anymore because he gets fed @2:15 AM.

He's been super stable but I was wondering if the insulin at this low of a dosage can take the increase in BG 6 hours in when his Nadir seems to be @~4 hours.

I'm just testing the waters seeing if there's anything I can improve or if this is just a waiting game. :)

Makes sense. Experimentation is good. I do know that they say to feed less (or not at all if you can) in the second half of the cycle, as the insulin is wearing off. Which is something you could do entirely, as he doesn't need to eat very often.

I'll test the waters with 2x feeding today. Gave him the 2:15 PM feeding with original so 1/4 cup this morning.

Hope it gets him over the cliff into the double digits.

If not, I'll probably switch back to 4x tomorrow to make sure my fiancé can sleep until she has to get up instead of him bugging her an hour early lol. I know it's not suggested to change feeding habits often, he's soooooooooo close to all green days now though.
