She still gets the milk thistle every night so maybe that is enough.
Summer, asking for a civvie - how much milk whistle does Susie get, and how do you give it? Mixed in food or syringed? I've read it tastes awful. I am very impressed at Susie's liver values.

Not sure about one general supplement, except I know there are different "immune boosting" supplements sold. We know gut health is important to overall health - so a probiotic could be beneficial.
Waiting to see suggestions. In general, if you are feeding a quality food, supplements may not be necessary . . . Just a thought!

Hi Jan. I give Susie 1/8 tsp. mixed in with her FF dinner at night. You are supposed to give it twice a day but I only do it at dinner. I didn't want to overwhelm her with it and I didn't want to syringe or do pills. I don't know how it taste but she seems to have no problem with it. I have heard other cats do. I am convinced that it is what brought her liver enzymes (ALT, AST) down which were very high for a long time. Yes, if you look back at her labs her AST and especially her ALT were very high for months. I can only assume it was the thistle that brought the numbers down.

Probiotics sound like a good choice. Can you recommend one that can be mixed in her food? I'm not sure how "quality" the Fancy Feast foods are. I know they are high in phosphorous but she didn't seem to fond of the Weruva.

Afternoon Summer, what a great new night and a great day Susie is having!
Love seeing all those blues . I hope you all have a good night Summer ♥:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thank you, Diane. I really thought she was going to be bouncing today. She has been pretty stable in the blues. You never did say if you got a lot of bad weather during Henri. I hope you have a good, quiet night tonight too.

Hey Summer, we only got rain all day that's about it.
I guess you can say that Susie is like a box of chocolates you never know what you're going to get. (Forest Bump Movie :p)
Have a good night Summer
@Summer and Susie

Thank you, Alisa. Isn't it nice that you don't have to get up in the morning to give insulin? Wishing you the very best - always. By the way, thanks for mentioning me in the OTJ party post. I am happy I was able to offer support.

It is nice to have a different kind of schedule. I almost feel guilty about it. I think FCC is just glad I'm not always chasing him to stick foreign objects in his body. Unpleasant surprise next time he gets monitored.

Glad I'm still seeing blue. I think @Diane Tyler's Mom has an apt analogy with her Forrest Gump reference.
