I think Dolly is due for an increase. Her poor little pancreases is confused by these strange treats it's been fed. I need to do a do-over with Dolly's treats. Rewards are important since testing has become a problem for her. I don't know which treats are safe "for her". Some single ingredient, chicken/turkey/duck etc. freeze dried treats can/do raise her BG :confused:

Sending healing prayers to all the kitties and their caretakers that are not feeling their best

Morning Adrienne, I hope you enjoy your brunch today and Dolly stays safe.
Was reading about Dolly hissing at her toy that spins around, that's too funny.
Will check back later ♥:bighug::bighug::bighug:
Thanks so much. Of course I don’t mind. I’m rushing for a change. Talk later. Sorry about today. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

I added your condo for yesterday only because the yesterday above didn't work, I hope you don't mind :cat:

Hi Adrienne, sorry you are having treat woes! :( I give Ruby a small meal of her raw food after tests. I'm gonna test her in a few minutes and then give her .5 ounce of food. She sits on the couch after her test and waits for me to bring her the snack. :rolleyes: This is our routine and she likes to be waited on and to eat in comfort on the soft couch rather than sitting on the floor. :p

They do rule the roost :p or whatever that saying is :D My life definitely revolves around Dolly, she gets food on the couch as well. Hope things stay safe for you Pamela. Sending prayers to all of you :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

:oops::oops: Sorry Katherine, don’t know how I mixed that up :p just caught my faux pas :rolleyes:

I hope you can find some treats that work for Dolly. You don't have a lot of room for an increase with nadirs in the 50s the other day. I'd wait a couple of days and see what she does. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thanks Carla. I do realize I struggle with perspective with Dolly. I am so used to greens and consistent low nadir’s that these blues and higher nadir’s on some days make me feel like she is no longer tightly regulated and I am failing her in some way. Her numbers have been so good all year until the last few weeks. I really took a lot of it for granted. Her remission officially ended one year ago today. How desperately I wanted that back. Not having to worry about leaving her, not having to schedule my life around testing and insulin, SLEEP, I could go to bed when I needed to and at the same time as my husband. Tired of being tired. On the other hand, I would and will do whatever I have to for Dolly. She has a grip on my heart like no other kitty I’ve owned. We are attached at the hip ( maybe that’s why mine broke months ago :p). Thanks in advance for listening to me vent :rolleyes:. Take care Carla. Hugs to you and the kitties :cat::cat::cat:
