Glad to not need to stab him that is for sure .... poking has been easier too now that I am only doing it twice a day. Not sure how the vet will respond to removing insulin but will have to see.

The vet should have no problem with you not giving insulin once he sees Jaxon's numbers. So happy for you. Are you almost ready to party? :smuggrin:
 
Oh I am not bothered by that, just not sure how they will feel about it is all ... that I did it without consulting them. So not sure how they will react to it is all.

I cannot afford the cost that might entail, is why I do all the testing myself (curves and such) .... I am not expecting too much pushback, just not sure how they will react really
 
I don’t think you need a fructosamine. He’s diet controlled. The only curve Max ever had at my vet’s office was after his first shot. I think he had one fructosamine test ever too.
 
He's never had a curve done at the vet, am guessing a fructosamine test is a specific test rather than the standard one they diagnose diabetic?
