? 8/10 Dallas AMPS 407, +6.5 325, PMPS 398 question about TR

We increased Dallas' dose from 1.25 to 1.5 Monday and I'm confused as to why his numbers are even higher now other than right after giving the first 1.5 dose. I understand that it takes about 7 for that depot, so that brings me to my question...if it take 7 days for a depot, why do you increase every 3 days with TR?

Thank you all for your help as always!

Good question. The 7 days to build the depot is only for the first week. After that the depot is there and you are increasing in small amounts so you know what a dose will do after 3-5 days depending on the nadir.

Should he be staying on this dose for 7 days then? Or is the depot already there from when he was getting 1.25? I was planning to increase (if his numbers stay like this) on Thursday. His numbers are not making sense to me, so I'm not too sure what to think.

My boyfriend is going to do a curve this coming weekend. I'm assuming it's ok to increase without doing a curve since it's every 3 days?

Each time you change the dose, the depot has to stabilize again so it can "release" the right amount for the new dose.

Yes, if you're doing TR, you can increase as often as every 6 cycles if it's not getting him where you want him.

It will be helpful for the boyfriend to do a curve too (it would be even more helpful if boyfriend could get an occasional test every cycle but we understand not everybody can do that)

Unfortunately, we can only do a curve on weekends as we both work Mon-Fri. I'm away for work, but I'm back home end of next week and I'll have 17 whole days off with Dallas and will get lots of data. Is it still OK to increase Thursday if we can't do a curve before then?

What do you mean by an occasional test every cycle? Sorry, I'm almost embarrassed to ask this question lol.
