Morning!

I hope all is well there. We should see how Tansi does today and if we don’t see some green back in, we will want to increase his dose. Paws crossed!

Very good.
I was wondering about that.
Calipers arrived yesterday! Light and magnifying glass arrive soon.
Tansi is feeling great today. His tail is pointing at the ceiling.
I hope you have a lovely day.

It's like when you make an appointment with your doctor and then immediately recover before the visit.

Or take your cat car to the mechanic because it's making a "thunk thunk thunk" noise but as soon as you drive into the parking lot, the noise completely stops until you've paid for them to check into it and as you leave the parking lot, it comes back!

If my cat is making a "thunk thunk thunk" noise, I sure don't think the mechanic is where I'd want to be!...LOL

Tansi is just a hair into blue
What should I do if he drops back into green for pmps? Which he may do because of fasting.
My instinct is to shoot anyway, what do you think?

Lantus gives a second dip in some cats. That means they drop again at the next PS but not as low as the nadir.

You’ve never shot a BG below 100 but you shot 106 like a champ and there’s not much difference. I would love to see you shoot on time as long as you have supplies and can stay up to test.

Perhaps test him at +11.75. If he gives you a BG you are uncomfortable with, stall without feeding, and post for help. Be sure to put in the subject line “stalling, need help pls”. I am, unfortunately, not going to be around as I have to take Livia to the vet as she is not well. I’m not sure when I’ll be back. But someone should be here to help you. I’ll tag a few people to see if they are around to help out. Good luck! He’s looking amazing!

Hi Bron
Thanks so much for your advice.
I just read it now at +3 !
He ate after pmps a huge dinner and I suspect his number was that low because he ate hardly any dinner and not much all afternoon. I watched him carefully for an hour after the shot, and then I needed some sleep in preparation for staying up late when insulin is peaking tonight. My husband had a close eye on him and fed him snacks. What do you think?
Any advice is hugely appreciated.

He is looking great. Let’s see if he decides to drop lower later in the cycle. Great you are feeding snacks. I’d keep doing what you are doing.
