Good evening all! Working today and daughter at ballet camp so I fed Lucky 2 1/2 cans before I left and hoped for the best. Thankfully he stayed afloat! Don’t have any extra energy in me for a long night so hope he doesn’t continue to dip too much more as much as I’d like for him to get into other colors besides yellow and pink! I’ll check him again in a few hours. Hope everyone else’s kitties behaved today!!

Of course he wants to give me good numbers when I can’t stay up too much to test him. Ugh!

Yah, so that’s a plus!! Yes, I fed him a can of pâté after that reading. I will take one more and see what that has done to him.

Ok well after a whole LC can and a few dehydrated chicken treats we are at 95. Good but I had to give the forbidden food- a few pieces of kibble along with some LC pâté as I only had HC in the pantry. Ugh!! I’ll probably regret this in 6 hours when I’m up but I have to sleep.

We usually feeding a spoon of food with every test. The idea is to not fill them up - since we may need to keep feeding them to get the to surf the greens.
You can also add a teeny amount of HC gravy to LC to increase the carb% (when you don't have MC).

He is looking good on this dose!

Yah I usually don’t give him a whole can at a sitting but I was hoping that would have brought him up to the low hundreds so I could go to bed but that didn’t work. He gobbled the kibble right up so I’m sure he’ll be fine. I left another half a can of lc pâté. Charlotte was so much easier to persuade and steer her numbers. How true that ECID!
