8/1 FCC AMPS 90, +5 56, +5.75 76, PMPS 79, +2 59, +4 61

Thank you. We will do our best. He does seems to have settled a little with his testing. Maybe to counteract his newfound insulin squirminess. It could also be because I am subjecting him to fewer tests.

I tested him at +5 and he went down to 56 from an AMPS of 90.

Should I be worried about this low of a number? Do I need to intervene with MC? I did give him some LC, but both the cats were weaving around me because they were hungry.

Also, despite his current testing displeasure should I check him in an hour? Or less?

I would give him a little MC , then test him again in 30 minutes

Well, that was a giant leap. He went up 20 points in half an hour. I will leave him until PMPS unless someone suggests otherwise. I was worried he wasn't going to let me get that test in. Thank you for your advice.

His +2 is 59. He was very close to not letting me test. Should I give him a scoop of MC? Do I have to retest in half an hour or can I wait a bit longer. I don't know that I'll be able to get away with another one so soon. Should I be concerned?

Sorry! I just saw this. Yes, please give him MC. If you can, get a test in an hour. If not, feed a little more MC.

What's your MC%?

If you think +4 is still safe I will wait til then because I will have a better chance of success. Do I leave LC out for him even though I fed some MC?

His +4 is 61. Can I feed LC now and test at AMPS or is it still too low? Whatever is safe for FCC, but just knowing he'll only be so tolerant. Tomorrow is 0.25, right?

Give him some LC and leave some out and test tomorrow. Go down to 0.25U tomorrow morning. Congrats! :-)

Thank you so much for your help. I know it's been a while now, but I still feel like a fish out of water. I really appreciate you walking me through this.

I hope you have a great rest of the day.
