No. You are following slgs. A reduction has been earned with that 86. Stall and DON’T feed. With slgs you dint shoot under 90.

I’m going to have to skip tonight then, because she was ravenous and I fed her In the 30 mins I was waiting for a response
 
That’s fine and likely good because she very well could have dropped more. If less than 20 minutes test again and if over 90 post.

Saaaame. The routine is test/feed/shoot so your brain immediately goes ok, feed. And paired with a low number and a ravenous cat, recipe for forgetting!

Yup you got it! We aren’t used to this but we have been dropping in BG and insulin for DAYS, almost every shot has been reduced, so I feel like I’m still trying to learn but then we are dropping so fast I forget the basics
 
Don’t test now. However if the pancreas is coming back to action the bg will come down 3-4 hours after eating so if you can test then it is a good idea.

Change the pmps to pmbg since you skipped.

Another question, with this 86, is that technically the second cycle of the day even tho we didn’t give insulin and therefore a reduction for the morning given she has high enough numbers ? I’m sorry, I know you’ve said the things but I want to make sure I am very clear on what’s happening lol
 
She earned the reduction today but you needed to skip. So in the morning (if she is high enough to shoot) the dose will be the first at .50.
