Andrea, I don't blame you for being worried. All these blacks are scary. Good thing you tested for ketones. Why don't you put a "?" in front of your thread to see if you can get some expert advice. I don't know if you can increase again this soon but someone should come along and help you.

Thank you, Summer. Increase would probably be after tomorrow. That’ll be 3 days on the new dose. He seems like he feels okay and is eating well and everything, so I guess that’s okay. Just hoping it goes down.

It's probably a combination of bouncing and new dose wonkiness that is typically seen in cycle 2 or 3 after an increase.

Counting cycles till the next increase is indeed hard. There is nothing to be done but wait.
As long as you don’t think it’s too crazy, then I can hold. Will it still give us an accurate idea of when to increase?

Never mind that. Post regarding bounces read and digested. We’ll probably wait a couple extra days before increasing again. Patience pants on. Even though they are too tight and an unflattering color on me :D

Will what give us an accurate idea?

Increasing the dose according to TR:
  • Increase by 0.25 unit after 3 days (6 consecutive cycles) if nadirs are greater than 200, but less than 300.
  • Increase by 0.5 unit after 3 days (6 consecutive cycles) if nadirs are greater than 300.

Just wondering if the bouncing prevents us from seeing how a dose will really impact his levels.

You don’t want to increase on a bounce clearing cycle but otherwise with nadirs like you are seeing we would increase after 6 cycles. The reason not to increase on a bounce clearing cycle is he might come down hard and bounce again.
