Today we see the vet because she has a little growth on her skin near her hip. Hopefully nothing to worry about!

It's good to keep a cat on a dose where it sees good numbers for as long as you can - even with a little intervention with HC and MC, if needed.

Are you testing at least 20 mins after food? It takes that much time for the food to affect the numbers.

I think so but I will watch the clock carefully. She ate at 12:30 EST and it only took her a few minutes so I think if I test at 1 pm that should be ok.

Yes. Some more of that MC (12%) and test in half an hour. Looks like she wants that reduction after all!

Sorry. Just seeing these. Let her surf. You want to test 2 hours after the last meal to see if she stays up.

ETA: In you SS comments, you want note down what you fed. Helpful info in the future - that will help you figure out how carb-sensitive she is.

@Bandit's Mom I did make sure to note what brand pate I am feeding (Whole Earth = WE) in my SS. Thank you!

Sorry I wasn't clear! I meant that in cycles you feed higher carb food, you want to note down what you fed so you have history of how much carb it took at what point in the cycle to keep her above 50.
