Tuna got a lick of my sweet potato casserole from me. Not a big lick but he definitely got some sugar in him. What should I do? Will this ruin his remission?

No, it shouldn’t do anything except maybe raise the BG for a few hours. Get him to drink some water if you can.
Some cats are like that……..Sheba was always looking for opportunities to eat contraband.
One of my current cats…not a diabetic……got up on the bench the other day and ate the corner of a cake I had sitting out to cool….and I was in the kitchen!

Don't mean to hyjack your thread but
@Bron and Sheba (GA) that was too funny :p

Gabby, who was not in remission, snagged a piece of soy and honey glazed chicken. We had a member whose avatar was her cat stealing a waffle. They are carbaholics!!

The high carb wears off pretty quickly. Tuna will be fine!!

thank you guys so much, i would have replied earlier but i got sick myself. his numbers were not even affected from the sugar i just freaked (as i do lol)
