My first dose with calipers!
I used your measurements @Hercule's mum
Turns out it's exactly what I've been giving as 2.75U, but let's see how it works!

Theo is all good again, doing binkies, pooping like a champion, mowing my lawn

I sorta forgot to mention to my sister amounts to feed, so Mauer had quite a party yesterday.

It's very moist and the humidity is very high today.. it's really nasty. Everything sticks! But I feel better knowing Mauer can go down in awesome numbers!!!

Good luck with the calipers. Once you get used to them, you'll wonder how you ever measured the dose without them. Glad Theo is better. Glad your sister was able to help yesterday. She did great. I hope Mauer slides back down soon.

Excellent! Well, right down the measurement on your notes (I forgot in the begining leading to staying in a low dose for too long!), and remember to reduce or increase by 0.25 mm and go from there! It does get much easier, I promisse!

Does your caliper has a screw to lock in place? If so this is the most important thing to remember to do. lock in place so you know when you are staying in a dose, you are always giving the same thing.

Also, something else important with calipers is to remember each time you take a new measurement push the two arms all the way together and then "0" out the number. Then you can start to open up the arms to go to the measurement you want. Then, like Karen said, tighten the screw to hold that number until the next time you make a change.

So 25mm is both up and down? Easy!
Of course it locks otherwise I wouldn't have bought it
It took a lot of time, I usually prepare the syringe while she's eating and shoot when she's done. Now doing the syringe first.. but I'll get into it

Well, I kinda forgot that I didn't want to...
How ever, the 4.58mm is the exact same amount as my regular 2.75U so... not really though?

Does that mean the liquid in your coloured syringe measures 4.58mm?

In my experience there is huge variation from syringe to syringe, so I would be surprised if when you measure with calipers you also end up in the same position with regrdas to the marks, if you see what I mean?
