Sorry, I think I've asked this before, but please bear with me...does he get food through the cycle when you're not at home to feed? You want to avoid
drops below 50 that could have been prevented by feeding. Avoid a reduction that is not "earned" so to speak. Keep them at a dose as long as possible.

No he doesn't because my other cat would eat it. I tried doing the frozen thing the other day and Shooter wouldn't have anything to do with it. Pepper (the healthy one) stood there and licked it until it was gone. lol
 
So tomorrow morning I should still give the 1.75 and stay there for a full 4 - 6 cycles regardless of what happens?
4 cycles would be good. If he dips again in the 4th cycle, that would be another reduction. Let's see how he does.
For future reference - reductions earned because there was no food on board often fail, which is why we recommend feeding them through the cycle to avoid one - to the extent possible.
