Nice number this morning, let's see how it plays out. Jill got a little patch on her back shaved this morning. She's such a good, tolerant girl! I tented and rolled with the shot.

Hi Debra. Jill looks good. I'm starting to wonder if I am missing out on the best way to administer a shot. I always do the shoulder but I thought Susie had a double bounce yesterday which I learned it wasn't. It was likely a reduction in absorption from a shot. I guess I need to pay closer attention.

I watched a ton of videos today that all administered the same way which is a bit different than I have always done it. So I tried doing it differently and I think it’s better. Shaving a little patch helps so I can see the needle go right in. Hopefully this will be better long term. I shot my first cat in the thigh but can’t do that with Jill so it’s new to me!
