47 at AMPS+4! It's reaching the point where I'm sometimes hesitant to even leave the house to run errands. Fed him a little mixed low carb/med carb food and he's perked up already. Will retest in 30 minutes.

He's up to 55 now.

Glad you caught that 47. Looks like he has earned a reduction. Poor Wally is a confusing cat for me to understand. Most of the time it looks like he needs an increase and then he does these crazy dives.

You and me both. That's why, when ever someone says he should get an increased dosage, I hesitate, because of his erratic numbers.

And the expected bounce from his low earlier today... I gave him a skinny 1.5 even with the bounce. Appetite is off so I'm enticing him to eat more FF by adding a few pcs of Young Again.

I know EXACTLY what you mean! I'm the same now with Fred. I've switched him to Levenir, which has helped in the predictability of the pre-shots. Knock on wood, there are no more random low PS's that throw me for a dosing loop. BUT, he can have an incredibly high PS, and then go diving down. I didn't even know Levemir was capable of pulling down that much. Then, of course, we bounce. His nadir is also currently on the move. So I'll test him, and then be like, "OK! Should have one hour to go to ShopRite...go go go!".

My spreadsheet is a picture of what not to do, currently, as I've had to travel, and I reduce him for those times. So nothing has had the chance to really stick. I'm also completely paranoid.

I hope Wally is feeling better!!

The mirtazapine is kicking in and he has eaten a bit more. Numbers coming down slightly at +2. You'd think, after being on this sugar ride since 2017, that I'd be used to whatever Wally does, but he's so unpredictable. Good luck with Fred.
