06/18 Henry AMPS 109 +3.5 94 +5.5 91 PMPS 86 +3.5 98 +5.5 96

Henry's had stretches of blue preshots before but this seems a little more prolonged. Hard to say what might be going on. How does Henry seem behavior-wise? When was his last check up with the vet?

Well in terms of Henry behavior it's normal no signs of distress at all. He runs around the back yard with the other three cats lots of energy

The last Vet visit was Sept of 2020

Now yesterday evening he caught a bird but I dispose of it before Henry had a chance to make a meal out of it

The back yard is completely enclosed and we have a camera to monitor his activities

This might be a thought the temperatures are summer like now and his numbers are running parallel with the rise in temperatures (Dehydration?) - just a thought

Henry hours outside are from the AMPS Preshot (6:00am) thru PMPS +3.5 (9:30pm)

Indoors from PMPS +3.5 (9:30pm) to AMPS (6:00am)

Sounds like Henry has a really nice life! :cat: If you're concerned, Robert, maybe a check up at the vet is due. Since Henry has special needs I think a vet visit every 6 months would not be excessive and maybe it would put your mind at ease? Don't want to scare you, but there are all sorts of underlying conditions that could cause a small increase in BGs without any outward behavioral/clinical signs. Dolly had an infection recently and her numbers were climbing and once she got antibiotics her numbers came down again (see the last few days on her SS).

Katherine & Susie

Henry's PMPS dropped to 86 today

I added a little more water to all of his feedings of wet food today

He also has been in the house since 10:00am (95 degrees outside today)

My thought is dehydration which cats are famous for generally

I'm going to focus a little more on his water intake

Yes Katherine, I would agree a semi-annual check-up is good practice for cats in general

Thank You both (Susie & Katherine) for staying with me
