Good morning everyone ! I wanted to thank u guys for being there for me and money !!! I appreciate u all !!! I wouldn’t be where I am today in moneys journey if it wasn’t for u :)

last night at +6 money tested at 90 . I was wondering if I should lower her dose today ? This morning she’s in the blues . I’ve been at 0.75u for 3days now … is it too quick ? What to do ??

Since you are following SLGS, you would reduce if she drops below 90.
A cat's normal numbers on the human meter are 50-100. So that 90 is at the higher end of the normal range.

Since you are feeding 100% LC wet food and are testing at least once every cycle, would you be comfortable switching to TR? It is a more aggressive protocol with reductions earned when the BG falls below 50 (vs. 90 on SLGS), but it allows you to hold a dose that sees BG numbers in the normal range (50-100). More time spent in the normal range gives the pancreas a chance to heal. And a better chance at remission. (Not that remission is not possible with SLGS)

Since Starting I’ve gotten more comfortable I am willing to switch over to TR . I’m wondering how much I would need to test daily ? I’m receiving the vetbond glue on Thursday and will be installing libre ! Soo I think it would be a great time to do the switch !!!! With ur help of course !! :)

You can take her up to 1U (either tonight or tomorrow morning). With TR we evaluate the dose every 3-5 days (unlike 7 days in SLGS).
Please change the SLGS in your Signature and SS to TR :-)

Am I mistaken, or were you contemplating switching to a non-prescription food like Fancy Feast?
 
Yes ! I have allready switch to fancy feast like 3-4 days ago .. I’m feeding the classic pate or grilled pate. I have changed food and the TR in signature and ss
I will put up the dose to 1u tmr morning since I want to monitor and would worry to much tonight and not sleep …. !! this is kinda stressing me allready Lolol .

The Classic is low carb. Is the Grilled - Grilled in Gravy?

Can you please get another test at +6. Want to see how much lower she is going after that 90. Accordingly, we may just hold the dose. The change to a lower carb may also bring down her numbers.
 
Ohh man sorry I didn’t see ur msg till now and we’re at +9/162 and I also fed her a 1/4 can . I’ll do it tonight if u tell me exactly wat numbers u need
