Hello, Adrienne. Thanks for all the love and support you've been giving me. I hope you and Dolly and Rob have an excellent day! Any scrabble today?
Maybe, it’s the only thing these days that calms me, gets me out of my head. I hope and pray things can be resolved for Darcy’s health, his intestines, his diabetes. So much going on in one little kitty cats body. My heart aches for you both. I will be checking on you, hoping for some good news. :bighug::bighug::bighug: Prayers:bighug::bighug::bighug:

Nice start. I hope you see more green today. :bighug::bighug::bighug:
Thanks Carla. Dolly’s numbers are just plain erratic. Highs and lows :( I just never know if she will be at 70 or 130. She free feeds and has been eating more than she ever has. Have a happy day. Furball great start for the day.

Hi Pamela, I finally ordered CBD Tincture Oil 150 mg from HolistaPet today. Going to try that before the Meloxicam with so many side affects. Thank you. What I love is it can be put on her paws to lick off or the inside of her ears transdermally. (?). You, Amethyst and JoJo have the very best day. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

@Butters & Lyla @Suzanne & Darcy @PerfumedCatMom sending loving healing prayers. My heart is with you and your kitty. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:
I am not taking Dolly off insulin not one time for a vet that doesn’t know what she’s talking about. I was up most of the night with this pit in my stomach knowing I could not take her off or lie about her numbers. I am furious with myself for not saying it outright in the moment. I’m no longer that shy person who could not stand up for herself. I am a 75 year old great grandma dealing with a lot of personal issues, a husband with health challenges and a precious kitty that I try to do my best for. I can’t be someone I’m not and I can’t let a vet tell what to do with “my” cat when I know, I know more about feline diabetes than she does. Her intention was to intimidate me, we’ve knocked heads before and I don’t think she likes me, I thought everyone liked me  guess not .
Dolly is a grazer, she’s free fed, but she is eating so much the last few days. Not gobbling like on Mirtazapine or a hyperthyroid type of eating, just eats most of every dish I put out. Normally I toss a lot of food. I don’t know if this is something to worry about. She is in a lot of pain, wish I could post the video of her walking.

this is not her worst, yesterday she moved like a snail with a limp. It’s heartbreaking. Ordered some CBD oil from HolitaPet. Start with that before I consider Meloxicam. I still have a few Buprenex with a refill. It’s $10 a syringe and she gets 15 on the refill. When I miss and it’s all over my hand :arghh:

Thank you, Adrienne! Hopefully the cardiology thoughts you and Dolly have been sending to get that appointment moved up start to work!!! We appreciate it soooo much. Thank you for thinking of Butters even when I'm not up to posting a condo:bighug::bighug::bighug:. I hope you are doing well and have a wonderful evening.

Sorry that I didn't see this earlier, being embroiled in my own drama, but all I have to say is YOU GO GIRL! I supported the idea of skipping because I got the feeling you felt you needed to prove something to this vet, but you're right, you don't. I felt bullied by one of Ruby's vets today and it made me feel baaaaaad. The only vet I've met so far who I felt like could be a good partner in Ruby's care was the holistic vet I met last week because she had very little ego. We need to stand up for ourselves and for our kitties. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thanks Katherine. I hope you are making progress on Ruby’s treatment. Dolly’s vet called me today on her day off to tell me the Meloxicam does not have sugar, just saccharine. I couldn’t understand how a med could say it was honey flavored but have no ingredient list including the pharmaceutical company that makes the drug. She was all sweetness. You and Ruby are in my prayers. Sending hugs :bighug::bighug::bighug:
I am beyond exhausted tonight so of course Dolly drops and I no longer have any idea what she will do next.

I worry….
