6/2 Tiger PMPS 165,+1 179,+2 186,+4 154

Wow. You know what they say about flat cycles? All the action will be in the next one! :nailbiting:
Yeah, give him some more 1% - if he hasn't had his quota of food for the day - I presume he hasn't.
OK. No he gets more food at +4 also.
Yes I will nap this evening in prep!
He got a bit of a dose reduction this morning because of the caliper. Hope I am doing it right! I have watched the videos...:)

Yes. It's only when I started using callipers and my phone camera to zoom in, did I realize how inaccurate my dosing was!

I use the method shared with me by @Hercule's mum:

"They way I settled in was by having a spot where I lay the calipers down, locked tightly at the distance I want, on top of a white piece of paper, where there is good light. Then, I use my phone camera zoom at the maximum to look through. I prop the camera on top of a glass, so it is hands free. Then I can use my hands to position the syringe, and look through the phone. "

I have changed this a bit to put the syringe and the callipers on a phone or tablet with the Mylight app - that acts as a lightbox/backlight.

Wow thank you so much! I can't open the picture.
DH ordered a mini-microscope for me to see if I see ear mites so maybe I can use that also...

Yay for green:D! Go Tiger:cat:
I was shocked by how much of a dose reduction it was when I switched to calipers. Easily .25u but probably more. Hopefully it won't impact Tiger. I lay the calipers and syringe down on a lightboard, and I use a 10x jewelers loupe to magnify things. It took me a couple of weeks to get comfortable with it all. Hopefully you become a pro in no time!:bighug:

Thank you Lyla!!!
So you squirt the excess onto the lightboard??

Also need to treat him with Advantage Multi again tomorrow. The mites started to come back and his ears have been bothering him a lot. It doesn't last a full month but none of them do.
Try Revolution. I had the same problem with Advantage (it's called Advocate in India). Within 3 weeks the mange was back and how! What really worked was Selamectin (Revolution). My vet said that some cats respond better to one over the other.

It's possible that the ear mites are causing the higher numbers.

I do have revolution also but I decided to give him the Advantage one more time (3rd dose) because the revolution the vet gave is a very large amount and he didn't do well on it. If I can't get it under control with one more dose then I will have to draw up a dose from the tube that is smaller!!! Didn't wanna haffa do that!

That's strange! You get Revolution for cats based on weight. Just apply.

Did your vet give Tiger Revolution for dogs??!

No. The dose they gave is 11.1-22 pounds and he was 12.4 then. He is up to 13.4 now but that's still a long ways from 22! The dose is 60mg. At 2.7x13.4 his minimum would be 36.18mg, so 60 seems like a lot. It did work but it knocked him down for 5 days, and I'm not sure it worked any better than the Advantage. I did try to get a smaller dose from Chewy but whoever they contacted wasn't the person I talked to at the vet and they didn't approve it:banghead:
:rolleyes:So that's my story lol...
