Hi Everyone,
I need to go out of town for two weeks in June and I am taking Pip over to my mom's so she can give her insulin and generally take care of her. She has a diabetic cat as well. Pip is very high stress when outside of her own home. I've left her at my mom's before for two weeks and she never 'settled in'. I went to talk to my vet about this and be prescribed 10mg Amitriptyline once a day. Couple questions:

- Does it make the cat eat less in general--effecting BG levels?
- What is the best way to administer this (crushed up in food)?
- When should it be given? After breakfast and insulin administration?
