5/17 Snuggie: PMPS 327 ((AMPS 337: +6.5 337 (Starting Wk2 Lev)

So it's been a week on Levemir - should I do a curve (if yes, should I do one today?) Should I increase by 0.5 units? We are SLGS.

Yesterday was AMPS 331, PMPS 299. I was out of town from just after morning injection until right before evening injection in a physically-demanding class and fell asleep on the couch so didn't get any PM mid cycle tests (and didn't post here), but the data that I have from the past week show no blues, no greens, and his lowest reading was 212 on Day 2, it was going to be my AMPS but I stalled 30 min and it went up to 236.

I'm afraid I'm too much of a newbie to offer dosing advice, but I'm likely going to switch Fred to Levemir. Just curious how you and Snuggie are liking it?

hi! First of all that’s the BEST screen name/cat name ever! :-) (I’m a huge Burberry fan lol).

We did ProZinc for 5ish months and had a few good weeks but it just didn’t “stick”... my spreadsheet is a little weird bc we switched from an alpha trak to a human meter while still on ProZinc so we stopped getting blacks, we had pinks and reds, but now on Levemir 1 week we are getting all pinks and yellows - so I think that’s encouraging!!

Lol...thank you. I've actually had it as a screen name for years, so it came in very handy here. ;-)

Glad to hear Levemir is promising so far! I wish you much-continued great progress!
 
Yes, time to do that curve. You don't actually have to wait until after the 7th day to do it. And if no surprises, I'd go to 5.5 units next.
