Well, I was able to set an alarm and test at the PM+5, but the PM+7 (1am) alarm didn't break through the deep sleep I must have been in! But based on the +5 I don't think Cargo dropped too low. I will try again tonight and maybe just get that +7.

That’s good information getting the +5 Mel and you are probably right...he didnt drop much from +3 to +5 so he probably didnt drop much further after that.
I found putting the alarm away from where you can reach it helps.

It is hard to wake at +7! I usually hear the alarm all the way to +6, but then, as you say, too deep! Hopefully Cargo is staying flat, and just may need a bit more juice (easier to solve, than bouncing!)

I'm so sorry Karen - you're right, the bouncing IS very hard to solve! Supposedly the Lantus type insulin is supposed to be the best long lasting insulin, but is it possible Herc would respond better to another?
I'm home through Friday - I may raise Cargo up to 1.75 at that time if he's still not below 150 more consistently on his nadirs. I know that's a little fast for SLGS but I hate that he's spending so much time in the yellows and purples.

I know, I know! Ha ha! But if he's still no lower than the yellows by Friday he'll have to wait all weekend and until Tuesday before I can raise him. I hate that he's so high for so long on SLGS. Let's revisit the idea on Friday. And who knows, maybe we'll get some blues in the next couple of nights and this will all be moot...
