You can be off by 15-20 minutes without worries unless you get a really low preshot. I miss the gym but I’m not ready to go back just yet. Thankfully I got a Peloton.

Thanks! Yea I thought about shooting before the gym but it just works out better for peace of mind to do it after. I JUST went back this week - it’s a class environment and we all get dedicated equipment that we use for the whole class - everyone’s station is about 12 feet apart, and there are buckets of disinfectant everywhere to remind people to wipe down. I’ve been quite impressed and it’s already helped me getting that hour to myself. I didn’t have the mental energy to force myself to do home workouts anymore! LOL!

I have belonged to a gym since just after college. After months of no gym I got the peloton and use it every day. I was going crazy just walking and not getting cardio. I’ll eventually go back I think. The bike was a good investment. It paid for itself since I don’t go to my way too expensive gym. I don’t think I could do cardio with a mask. I know I couldn’t.

Nice! I considered a peloton or something similar but was lucky that my gym let us borrow equipment and sent daily workouts. The mask *is tough for cardio - the best one so far for me is the disposable surgical ones. Luckily most of my workout is weights/lifting :-)

I'm glad to see you are mixing up your testing. It's a good way to find out how he is working the Levemir. Though with onset typically +4 (one hour either side also possible), a +2 won't tell you much when he's in high numbers and will usually be on the way up. When Neko was in lower numbers, she could nadir after +12, so an earlier test was worth it then. Yesterday was an example where Snuggie looked like he was nadiring closer to the end of the cycle.

I'm so glad I do an outdoor sport (rowing). And that we are allowed on the water since we are typically quite a distance apart from each other. My indoor rowing machine helped a bit during lockdown, but I just can't do it for long due to boredom. Our local gym we used to go to over winter went out of business. :(

@Wendy&Neko good point - since he’s brand new on this I’m kind of expecting no pattern initially until his depot is developed. What times would you suggest making sure I cover this week while things may be a little “off”? He’s good about testing but I’d love to not make Swiss cheese out of his ears :) and focus on the times when useful data will be collected, I’m planning a +6 and +10 today...

ETA: thinking about it, seems like we want tests around +3-4-5 to see typical onset, and something like +9-10-11 to see possible nadir for now?

I LOVE ROWING! Altho I’m not so much on the water as I am on the machine. I love that it helps me strengthen my back and counteract the slouch from the desk job:-)

:)

You got it!:)

Not after an hour or more. :p Much prefer the water for that length of time.

Oh yay! Thanks! Ive had some SERIOUS brain fog for a few weeks and it’s finally lifting. Whew!

hehe yea fair point- cardio on any machine at the gym longer than 10 min is tough!!
