5/12 Toeby AMPS 292, +2 274, +3 257, +6.5 338, PMPS 365, +3 358.

Good morning, Laura. Nice to see a yellow AMPS. Looks like he might have a good day today. A +2 test should be a good indicator of what is going to happen.

Looks like a food bump and then gentle decline. I would test again in 2-3 hours.

Hi, I got busy doing laundry and housework... sorry, but I didn't see your message until just now, after I took the 6.5 hour test...
He was snacking and content while I was working.
I don't think he dropped much lower but I can't say for sure at this point.

You were fine to go longer. I just wanted a nadir test is all.

It seems like, and I will guess that this might change as he gets more regulated, his nadir is not 6 hours, but earlier, like at +4 or +5?
Is that possible?
I certainly have never seen a long, sustained "surf" but again, I realize his numbers have been all over the place...

The nadir will vary. Yesterday I might have gotten one more test after the 128 to see if he dipped a bit lower. Think of the ss as a dart board. Try to hit a test at times you never tested before some of the time. By doing that Max’s one and only curve was done after his first shot at my vet’s office. Right now it does appear you are correct as to his nadir.
